With the live broadcasting of the 2012 London Olympics just around the corner, major broadcasting SBS was the only station this week to air all two episodes of their Wednesday and Thursday primetime series.

"Phantom," starring actor So Ji-sub and actress Lee Yeon-hee, collected 14.5 percent of the viewers on July 25 and saw an increase of two percent the following the night, according to data compiled by the TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) Friday.

The action-packed drama also fared well on AGB Nielsen's poll with ratings of 13.3 percent and 15.3 percent during the same time frame.

In the meantime, TNmS' chart showed that KBS' "Gaksital," starring Joo Won and Jin Se-yeon, drew in 16.7 percent of the audience on Wednesday, while AGB's survey revealed that the show raked in 15.6 percent of the total viewers the same evening.

However, on Thursday, KBS cacelled the next episode of "Gaksital" and to air the live broadcast of the 2012 London Olympics Soccer Group B match between South Korea and Mexico.

Meanwhile, MBC ran their two-episode special show titled "Idol Star Olympics," featuring popular K-pop idols taking part in various Olympic sports games.
