Actress Lee Yeon Hee recently appeared at a fan signing event. Her appearance at the fan-signing was part of her duties as a spokesperson for global outdoor clothing brand North Face.
Fans lined up and waited for a long time to have the chance to meet her in person. She did not disappoint her fans as she greeted them with smiles. The actress’ beauty has especially captivated many male fans. Local news agencies also noted comments from admirers at the event, who said the actress was as radiant as she was in pictorials.
Lee Yeon Hee first modeled for North Face in 2011, beginning her campaign with the spring-summer season. She is on her second year endorsing the brand.

So Ji Sub and Lee Yeon Hee had no type of physical contact and ended the drama 'Ghost.' 
On the 20th (last) episode of SBS Wednesday Thursday drama 'Ghost,' that aired on the 8th, even until the end, Park Ki Young(So Ji Sub) and Yoo Kang Mi(Lee Yeon Hee) did not have any type of love line.
On this last episode that was aired, Park Ki Young and Yoo Kang Mi took care of the case separately. Yoo Kang Mi found the cellphone of the dead Shin Hyo Jung and helped Park Ki Young out. However, Park Ki Young cut contact with people in order to return to being Hades, as a way to get justice from Jo Hyun Min.
Yoo Kang Mi saw the posting, 'Jo Hyun Min List' that Hades revealed, but as she was unable to be in contact with Park Ki Young, she left a voicemail to his cell phone.
After all this time passed, she let Park Ki Young listen to the last message that Kim Woo Hyun left her. Kim Woo Hyun said to Yoo Kang Mi saying, "Don't become like me. Become a good cop," and left a deep meaning to Park Ki Young as well.
It's because Park Ki Young lived as Kim Woo Hyun and became a real cop. Kim Woo Hyun's message and Park Ki Young who became a cop, showing their crossing friendship, which gained interest.
Compared to their relationship, Yoo Kang Mi's existence was small. Park Ki Young and Yoo Kang Mi were only coworkers who shared a secret. Kwon Hyuk Joo and Choi Seung Yeon succeeded in showing somewhat of a love line coupe, but Park Ki Young and Yoo Kang Mi did not even have physical contact.
Meanwhile, the drama 'To The Beautiful You,' featuring Sulli, Minho, Lee Hyun Woo, Kim Ji Won, Seo Jun Young, is to air after 'Ghost,' on the 15th.

‘Phantom’s So Ji Sub, Lee Yeon Hee, and Kwak Do Won named honorary ambassadors for cyber crime prevention



The leading cast of SBS‘s ‘Phantom‘ has been named honorary ambassadors for the Cyber Investigations Unit of the National Police Agency.
On the morning of August 9th, a representative of the NPA announced, So Ji SubLee Yeon Hee, andKwak Do Won have been inaugurated as honorary ambassadors for our cyber crime prevention program. They will be receiving the appropriate certificates for their roles soon.”
The three were actually a part of a Cyber Investigations Unit in the drama ‘Phantom’, and now they’ll be able to continue their activities off screen for a good cause. Representatives stated, “We decided to choose them as our honorary ambassadors because of their background with the drama, which covered real life issues like cyber crime, hateful replies, and hacking.”
For the next two years, the three will be working to raise awareness and the prevention of cyber crimes through the production of promotional content.

Women’s fashion brand ‘JOINUS’ has unveiled the still cuts for their new line of products featuring their main model actress Lee Yeon Hee.
Lee Yeon Hee has shown off many different styles of clothes in the pictorial and she looked completely different from her character in the drama, looking elegant like the goddess of autumn.
The set of the pictorial was designed to give off a fusion of modern and classical feel. Lee Yeon Hee was asked to express her emotion in an understated manner and even though the shoot was quite difficult, she did not lose her smiles until the end of the shoot. Word is the pictorial staff were impressed by her professionalism and they also appreciated her uplifting spirit.
A member of the crew from the pictorial stated, “Lee Yeon Hee was very busy with the schedule of her drama, but she looked energized and enthused throughout the shoot.”
Lee Yeon Hee is currently starring in the SBS drama ‘Ghost’ as the character Yoo Kang Mi.

Based on the result of survey that  released today (August 6th), a former-couple (on movie The Millionaire’s First Love) Hyun Bin and Lee Yeon Hee are chosen as the most wanted actor and actress to go to summer vacation with.
The survey that held by SK Marketing and Company, asked the consumers about who is the actor or actress they want to spend the summer vacation with, to the respondents of the 5006 male, and 4845 female.
On actor category, there is  Hyun Bin on the list, even in military camp his popularity never fade. Amazingly he is on the first place. about 17% female respondents chose him. While, on actresses side, Lee Yeon Hee managed to gain 20%  vote from male respondent, maybe because of her role as pretty detective in on-going drama “Ghost”, lately she becomes highly popular among guys.

Lee Yeon Hee honestly talked about her controversial “bad acting” through a promotional advertisement video clip of a cosmetic products brand she is representing as the endorsement model. She stated, “Nowadays, I search myself on the internet on my smartphone. When I come across posts talking badly about my drama and/or criticizing my ‘bad acting,’ it hurts me a lot. Sometimes, I feel so hurt and attacked that I cry when I’m alone.”
She added, “So many people have been paying very close attention to my acting in SBS ‘Ghost.’ As much as I am thankful for all the attention, it also burdens me greatly. I do recognize the responsibilities in playing my role. I will try my best, so please continue to pay close attention to and support my acting.”
Previously, Lee Yeon Hee’s acting in MBC “East of Eden” was harshly criticized by critiques and netizens in 2009. Many critiques pointed out her vocalization, unexpressive facial expressions, and unnatural emotional expression as problems and hinderances in fully portraying what “East of Eden” was trying to convey through her character.

SM Entertainment releases ‘S.M.ART EXHIBITION’ posters featuring 66 artists and actors


On August 2nd, SM Entertainment unveiled their official company poster featuring all 66 of their artists for their ‘S.M.ART EXHIBITION‘.
Starting with producer Lee Soo Man, the poster includes KangtaBoATVXQTraxCSJHSuper JuniorSuper Junior M‘s Henry and Zhou MiGirls’ GenerationSHINeef(x)EXOZhang Liyin, and J-Min.
The company’s actors and actresses also include Go AraLee Yeon HeeKim Min JongYoon Da Hoon, Lee Jae Ryong, Choi Jong Yoon, Hong Rok Gi, Kim Kyung Sik, Lee Dong WooIsak, and finally magician ‘Roo’.
The poster alone looks like a scene straight out of an awards show, and fans might remember the various cuts the artists revealed through their Twitters while filming for a TV program at the end of July.
The ‘S.M.ART EXHIBITION’ will run from August 10th through the 19th with experimental IT contents and collaboration displays. The exhibition is interactive with 20 different items that fans can experience first hand.

BoA recently had her comeback show on SBS TV‘s ‘BoA 4354‘ which aired on the 28th. On the show, there was a segment where BoA talked with Lee Yeon Hee in the back room.
When Lee Yeon Hee visited her, BoA greeted her by shouting “Yeppeunah (my pretty)!” Lee Yeon Hee then said, “You were getting ready for your comeback huh“, as she took out drinks and snacks she brought for BoA. BoA then asked her, “You’re going to buy it (CD) right?” Lee Yeon Hee smiled brightly as she answered, “Of course.”
When Lee Yeon Hee read a fans’ question for BoA asking, “What’s your secret to maintaining your body?” she burst out laughing as she said, “You don’t do anything to maintain your body.” BoA quickly responded by shouted out, “I exercise,” but Lee Yeon Hee revealed, “The trainer told me that you left shouting about being tired after you only did a little.”
The two stars also showed off their close friendship as BoA told Lee Yeon Hee, “I’ll buy you food if it (album) becomes daebak” and Lee Yeon Hee told her, “I’ll cheer you on.”

So Ji-sub's "Phantom" ranks No. 1 on Wed-Thurs ratings chart

With the live broadcasting of the 2012 London Olympics just around the corner, major broadcasting SBS was the only station this week to air all two episodes of their Wednesday and Thursday primetime series.

"Phantom," starring actor So Ji-sub and actress Lee Yeon-hee, collected 14.5 percent of the viewers on July 25 and saw an increase of two percent the following the night, according to data compiled by the TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) Friday.

The action-packed drama also fared well on AGB Nielsen's poll with ratings of 13.3 percent and 15.3 percent during the same time frame.

In the meantime, TNmS' chart showed that KBS' "Gaksital," starring Joo Won and Jin Se-yeon, drew in 16.7 percent of the audience on Wednesday, while AGB's survey revealed that the show raked in 15.6 percent of the total viewers the same evening.

However, on Thursday, KBS cacelled the next episode of "Gaksital" and to air the live broadcast of the 2012 London Olympics Soccer Group B match between South Korea and Mexico.

Meanwhile, MBC ran their two-episode special show titled "Idol Star Olympics," featuring popular K-pop idols taking part in various Olympic sports games.

On July 26, the 18th episode of the SBS drama "Ghost" featured Park Ki Young (So Ji Sup) and Yu Kang Mi (Lee Yeon Hee) enjoying the beautiful day together when their date is interrupted by Kwon Hyuk Joo (Kwak Do Won).
During the episode, Yu Kang Mi was eating lunch by herself when she decides to take a photo of her sandwich to send to Park Ki Young. She included a message saying, "Did you eat lunch?" Park Ki Young suddenly appears behind Yu Kang Mi seconds after and says, "No, I'm about to die of hunger. Are you trying to tease me?"
Yu Kang Mi and Park Ki Young sit on the park bench together and officially begin their lovely date in the park. However, Kwon Hyuk Joo appears out of nowhere with a packed lunch from Choi Seung Yeon (Song Ha Yoon) and says, "Are you hungry to death?"
Kwon Hyuk Joo doesn't realize what is happening and ruins Park Ki Young and Lee Yeon Hee's date. Park Ki Young tried to signal to Kwon Hyuk Joo, who was smiling ever so brightly at them.
Viewers responded with comments like, "So funny. Park Ki Young was so angry at Kwon Hyuk Joo", "I cracked up when I saw Park Ki Young's face expression" and "I wonder what will happen between Park Ki Young and Yu Kang Mi."

What happened to the steamy love scene between So Ji Sup and Lee Yeon Hee in the hotel room?
On July 25, the 17th episode of the SBS drama "Ghost" featured Park Ki Young (So Ji Sup) being chased down by the police. Yu Kang Mi (Lee Yeon Hee) brings Park Ki Young's belongings to the hotel room where he is staying temporarily.
Everything was playing out according to Jo Hyun Min's (Um Ki Joon) plot which was the reason why Park Ki Young was wanted by the police. Yu Kang Mi and Kwon Hyuk Joo (Kwak Do Won) were aiding Park Ki Young in his attempt to stay out of sight. Park Ki Young decides to stay at a hotel one night and Yu Kang Mi brings him his belongings.
Whlie waiting for Park Ki Young to finish showering, Yu Kang Mi feels uneasy and begins to blush when he comes out of the shower with only a gown on. When Park Ki Young takes the clothes Yu Kang Mi brought to the bathroom to change, she asks, "Wait, did you finish changing?"
When Park Ki Young comes out of the bathroom, he leads her onto the bed. So Ji Sup and Yu Kang Mi's faces got closer and closer and the atmosphere got tense. Suddenly, Park Ki Young put handcuffs on Yu Kang Mi's hands.
Park Ki Young then says, "It's enough for now. From now on, I'm going to do this on my own. If we move together, we'll both be charged for the crime. Kwon Hyuk Joo will be here soon so wait a little bit" and takes off from the hotel room.
The hotel scene gave the audience high hopes of their romance blooming. Viewers responded with comments like, "I was hoping to see So Ji Sup's six-pack while he was showering", "I was waiting for So Ji Sup and Lee Yeon Hee's relationship going further" and "Other dramas usually include a kiss scene at least.." and expressed their disappointment at the lack of a steamy kiss scene.

On July 23rd, selcas of Ha Ji Won and Lee Yeon Hee were posted on the Facebook site of makeup brand SK-II.
The SK-II CF featuring the two actresses was centered around the theme: “The woman I want to be, meeting my mentor.”

Surprised? Yes it was Lee Yeon Hee. Yesterday me and my friends went to watch the The Dark Knight Rises Film. During the movie I was pretty impressed with the catwomen character. Then I wonder how Lee Yeon Hee looks in that character. 

Lee Yeon Hee herself said that she was interested to do the action movie/scene. Perhaps that was the reason for her to signup the current drama "Ghost"

'Ghost': Who Is The Mole?

\'Ghost\' has four possible suspects who could be the mole.
The identity of the spy in SBS's 'Ghost' is quickly becoming a hot topic among Netizens.
The latest episode of the drama showed Woo Hyun (So Ji Sub), Hyuk Joo (Kwak Do Won) and Kang Mi (Lee Yeon Hee) realizing that there is a mole placed by Jo Hyun Min (Um Ki Joon), leading to spiking curiosity as to who the spy could be.
A USB drive containing evidence disappeared while Jo Hyun Min was visiting the police station, leading to suspicion that the theft was internal. Furthermore, it is revealed that the mole was one of the few who knew about detective Han's laptop, as well as someone within the department who knew of the phone call from detective Han before his death.
The obvious suspect is Lee Tae Gyun (MBLAQ's G.O.), who received detective Han's phone call and knew how to operate the laptop. However, there are three others who heard the phone call: rookie detective Byun Sang Woo (Im Ji Gyu), evidence analyst Kang Eun Jin (Baek Seung Hyun), and assistant analyst Lee Hye Ran (Bae Min Hee).
Adding to the intensity surrounding the issue of the mole is that the spy killed Yum Jae Hee on Jo Hyun Min's order and disappeared, making the spy all the more dangerous and raising viewers' curiosity and interest in the show to an all-time high.

'Ghost' Tops Viewer Ratings As So Ji Sub, Kwak Do Won Team Up

The new alliance between So Ji Sub and Kwak Do Won is skyrocketing SBS's 'Ghost' to the top of viewer ratings.
The episode which aired on the 5th garnered a 15.0% rating, overtaking 'Bridal Mask' which managed 14.0%. The other competitor in the time slot, MBC's 'I Do I Do', came in third with a 10.5% viewer rating.
'Ghost', which had recorded 12.0% with the previous day's episode, saw a whopping 3.0% increase overnight, while 'Bridal Mask' fell 1.8% from the previous mark of 15.8% to give 'Ghost' its place atop the rankings.
The latest episode of 'Ghost' featured Kim Woo Hyun (So Ji Sub) telling Kwon Hyuk Soo (Kwak Do Won) that he is actually Park Ki Young and requesting help in finding the real criminal behind Detective Han (Kwon Hae Hyo)'s death.
