MBLAQ Postpones Subunit Plans for G.O.'s New Drama "Ghost"

It’s been confirmed. MBLAQ’s G.O. will star in his first drama “Ghost,” alongside So Ji Sub and Lee Yeon Hee. MBLAQ’s unit group, featuring G.O.-Mir, has been put on hold for the time being. Earlier today, a representative of J.Tunes Entertainment announced, “G.O. has been casted in ‘Ghost.’ As a result, the plans for a unit group have been temporarily postponed.”
The rep continued, “They’ve [G.O. and Mir] already completed recording their title song and were about to begin promotions. Many fans were excited with news of a subunit group, and we plan to present them with a more finalized, perfected subunit appearance.
Lee Yeon Hee will take on the role of Yoo Kang Mi, a beautiful, elite agent in the cyber crimes investigation unit. Lee Yeon Hee Spotted Shopping, Surprises Fans with her Modesty

Lee Yeon Hee was recently shopping. Titled “Lee Yeon Hee: Rather Modest for a Celebrity,” the photos show the actress shopping from a rack labeled 29,000 won (approximately $29), surprising fans.
Dressed in a simple black coat, Lee Yeon Hee, like any other girl while shopping, is focused on the rack. Unlike other celebrities who are usually seen shopping at high-end designer boutiques, Lee Yeon Hee’s appearance at a relatively inexpensive store has caught netizens’ eyes.
Netizens commented, “She looks pretty wearing anything,” “She seems real, very down-to-earth,” “I’m beginning to see her in a different light,” “How modest,” and more.

Which Actress Looks the Best in a School Girl Uniform?

On March 30, a group of photos were posted on an online community board, under the title “Actresses in school uniforms.” They school girl photos, featuringMoon Geun Young, Han Ga In, Son Ye Jin, Kim Ok Bin, Lee Yeon Hee, andKim Tae Hee, have sparked a fierce online debate on which actress looks the best in a school uniforms.
Moon Geun Young has often been featured in a cute, young student role, such as “My Little Bride” and “Cinderella’s Sister,” earning her the nickname, “The nation’s little sister.” Lee Yeon Hee and Kim Ok Bin look natural in their respective school uniforms, as they were high school students in real life when the photos were taken.
On the other hand, Han Ga In, Son Ye Jin, and Kim Tae Hee are relatively older than the rest of actresses. However, they don’t look out of place and perfectly fit the school girl character with their uniforms on. In particular, fans have taken notice of their braided pig tails, which make them look even younger than their actual ages.
Netizens who came across the photos commented, “Kim Tae Hee is a goddess in whatever she wears,” “Why can’t my school have any of those girls?” and “For some reason, they look extremely hot.”
Who do you think looks the best in a school uniform? Do you have any other actress in mind?

Daniel Choi joins the cast of Ghost

Well so far the secondary cast is doing all the heavy lifting in getting my interest up for this drama. Daniel Choi (The Musical, Baby-Faced Beauty) has now joined the cast of upcoming cyber investigation drama Ghost, due out this May. It stars So Ji-sub and Lee Yeon-hee, who have already been paired together in a short drama special years ago, and now with the addition of Choi, there’s another reunion afoot: this will be his third project with co-star Eom Ki-joon, since 2008′s The World They Live In and 2009′s Good Job, Good Job.
Daniel Choi and Eom Ki-joon are pretty much of the same type (I could picture them running into each other in auditions for the same roles) so it’s interesting that they’ve worked together so many times. I suppose a cyber crimes division can never have too many bespectacled geeky types. Line ‘em up! I’ll watch for the army of adorable nerds.
He’ll be playing So Ji-sub’s friend, which already confuses me, since I thought So Ji-sub was playing the gruff genius anti-social guy who HAS NO FRIENDS. It’s implied in the ‘anti-social.’ I… don’t get it? It’d be cute if it were a goofy one-sided friendship, like if Daniel Choi thought they were besties and So Ji-sub couldn’t even remember his name. Based on what I’ve seen of Sign though, I don’t think they’re going to veer much away from the dramatic procedural in tone. So… cyber cops investigating cyber crimes — that’s the name of the game.
Shooting begins in April, and Ghost premieres late May following Rooftop Prince on SBS.
